In 2004, the Kulturkreis der Deutschen Wirtschaft established the Bronnbacher scholarship under the motto “Cultural competence for future executives”. The application phase for the 20th year of the Bronnbach scholarship runs until January 16th. The one-year program is aimed at students and doctoral candidates from all disciplines with an interest in art and culture.

In today’s business and scientific world, inspiration, creativity, intuition and the ability to change perspectives are prerequisites for successful and sustainable action. At the same time, it is always relevant to show appreciation for art and culture and to understand why these are indispensable for our society.

As part of the Bronnbacher scholarship, the selected students and doctoral candidates attend workshops, lectures and excursions for a year and come into contact and exchange with artists from the fields of architecture, fine arts, music, literature and theater. The scholarship holders get to know new ways of thinking and working and are introduced to creative solutions for tasks in the professional world and with social responsibility.

The 20th year of the Bronnbacher scholarship will start in March 2023. The application phase runs until January 16, 2023.
