STUTI project report of AMU gets appreciation from DST

ALIGARH  : The “Synergistic Training Programme Utilizing the Scientific and Technological Infrastructure” (STUTI) project PMU, sanctioned by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to the Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University, has earned a “Very Good” remark from the STUTI Advisory Committee of DST, New Delhi.

The Coordinator of the project, Prof B. P. Singh informed that he presented the progress report of the project at the STUTI Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting held at IISER, Thiruvananthapuram.

“The SAC evaluated the progress based on various parameters, including the number of training/awareness programs conducted, states covered, government institutions participated, researchers benefited, participation of researchers from less represented states/regions/society of the country, male-female ratio, thrust areas, feedback of participants, etc.”, he added.

He said that a total of 10 synergistic training programs and one science awareness program were organized under the project over the period starting from February 2022.

Dr. M. Wasi Khan and Dr. Jai Prakash are the Co-Principal Investigators in the project.
