ALIGARH  : AMU Girls’ School, Aligarh Muslim University organized several inter and intra school essay writing, Naat and Qirat competitions under the Seeratun Nabi celebrations to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

Ashraf Aziz (STS School)and Sadia Parveen (AMU Girls’ School) was judged first in the inter-school essay writing competition under the Class IX to XII category, while Sumera Nasim (AMU Girls’ School) got the second prize and Aleena Ansari (AMU City Girls’ High School) and Tazkia Fatima (AMU Girls’ School) shared the third prize. Anika Kulsum (AMU ABK School-Girls) received the consolation prize.

Ms. Bushra Kirmani, Ms. Safia Akhtar and Mr. Javed Alam judged the event.

In the Intra-school Naat competition under Class II to V category, Zehra, Humera and Aiman received the first, second and third prizes, respectively while Alfeena Aslam got the consolation prize.

Ms. Sumbul Alvi and Ms. Safia Akhtar judged the competition.

Under the Class VI to VIII category, Huda Anis and Irtaqa Qadeer got the first and second prizes respectively while Yusra and Shiza Khan shared the third prize and Fatima and Tooba Imran were given the consolation prize.

Ms. Safia Akhtar and Ms. Sumbul Alvi judged the event.

Muskan got the first prize under the Class IX to X category, while Mafaza and Saman Khan shared the second prize and Hooriya and Iram Waseem shared the third prize. Shifa Zameer and Areesha Fatima were given the consolation prize.

Ms. Arfeen Bano was the judge.

In the Intra-school Qirat competition, under the Class II to V category, Iffat Majid was given the first prize while Fatima Kazmi, Simrah and Mahina shared the second prize. Zoya Khan joined Alisha in receiving the third prize, together.

Under the Class VI to VIII category, Safwa received the first prize while Inaya got the second prize. Yusra, Huda Anis and Zoya Shahid shared the third prize while Irtaqua Qadeer got the consolation prize.

Amadullah got the first oprize under the Class IX to X category while Nida received the second prize and Sadiqa and Laiba shared the third prize. Sadiya got the consolation prize.

Ms. Noor Afshan Usmani and Ms. Safia Akhtar were the judges.
