Samba Administration launches Youth Club revitalisation programme

SAMBA : District Administration Samba in collaboration with the Mission Youth has started a week-long series of programs to revitalise youth clubs in rural blocks and wards under municipalities. In this regard, a programme was held at the CFC Centre in Supwal where youth club members from panchayats in Block Samba participated along with youths and PRI members.
The programme aimed to create awareness about various initiatives of Mission Youth J&K with a special focus on livelihood schemes like MUMKIN, Tejaswini, Spurring Entrepreneurship and Arise Together among others. Counselling sessions on drug de-addiction were also organised by the Health and Social Welfare Departments.
On-the-spot registration for government-sponsored self-employment schemes was done by officials from the District Employment & Counselling Centre Samba.
Assistant Director Employment Samba, BDO Samba and officials from the Social Welfare and Health Departments were present at the event.
