Aligarh : Cadets of NCC Unit, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) participated in a massive eight-day ‘Campus and Medical Campus Safai Abhiyan (Cleanliness Drive)’ which concluded on December 9.

“Besides the cleanliness drive at the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) and the rest of the university campus; the event also included an awareness rally, tree plantations, Swachhta Abhiyan, collecting plastic waste, Yamuna and Ganga cleanliness drives and Kali Nadi Swachhta Abhiyan”, said Coy Commanders Lt Dr Farooq A Dar and Lt Najaf Ali Khan.

Col R K Sagwan motivated the NCC cadets to spread cleanliness awareness across the Country.

Forty five cadets of the 1/8 company, 55 of the 2/8 company and 8 of the UP Battalion participated in the drive.
