The Rice football team came up short in its first postseason appearance since 2014, but that didn’t stop the Owl faithful from enjoying the sights and sounds surrounding last week’s the LendingTree Bowl.

Rice fans, players, coaches and administrators took in several events surrounding the bowl in Mobile, Alabama. The festivities included a happy hour gathering, parade and party Dec. 16 and a Rice tailgate before the teams took the field Dec. 17 against the University of Southern Mississippi.
