RAJOURI : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri,Vikas Kundal today released Rs.70, 31,000 as ‘Lower and Higher Education Assistance’ in favour of 794 beneficiaries registered with Jammu and Kashmir Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board. He also released an amount of Rs 2.05 lacs as death benefits to NoK of the deceased worker(s).

The amount was released in presence of a group of beneficiaries and the invoice was submitted to J&K bank to transfer the same in bank accounts of beneficiaries through DBT.

The Deputy Commissioner asked the Assistant Labour commissioner to generate mass awareness about the benefits of having labour card.

The DC also enquired about the status of Labour card and E-Sharm cards issued to the beneficiaries in the district.
