President Droupadi Murmu said that Preamble’s singular focus is how to improve social good. In her valedictory address at the Constitution Day celebrations organised by the Supreme Court in New Delhi, President Murmu said the onus is on everyone to make the process of seeking justice affordable for all.

She praised Supreme Court and other Courts in the country who have endeavored to make judgments available in regional languages thereby making important judgments accessible. She said livestreaming of court proceedings will also go a long way in raising public awareness.

The President said landmarks judgments passed by Supreme Court have strengthened legal and constitutional framework. She expressed confidence that the apex court will remain the Sentinel of Justice in the times to go.
