Hyderabad : Piaggio India, the 100% subsidiary of the Italian, Piaggio Group and maker of the emblematic Vespa and Aprilia range of scooters conducted the Grand Deccan Ride for their customers on 19th March at Hyderabad to create road safety awareness. There was a total of 300 no’s riders out of which there were more than 100 no’s female riders in the activity.

The Ride which started from all the Hyderabad showrooms met at the meeting point at Wesley College and from the Grand Deccan Ride was flagged off and went around the Hyderabad city, covering a total of 200 kms and ended at Hotel The Park, Hyderabad.

The All new, completely redesigned Aprilia SR 160 with I-get engine was on display, which is the fastest scooter, launched by Piaggio, which is set to excite everyone, with a great look, style, and enhanced pick up with reaching 60KMPH in just 7.5 sec, delivering highest performance set to be the new desired choice for its fans.

Customers were given a chance to experience the brand values of Vespa & Aprilia and were provided with Test Drives on the latest Aprilia SR 160 with i-get engine which was on display.

Shine NGO, who is very active in creating Road Safety Awareness also participated in the activity and Piaggio Hyderabad dealers contributed 50 no’s helmets to Hyderabad Traffic Police to be distributed to public free of cost.
