Minister of State for Education Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh addressed the Jagran Josh Education Conclave & Awards, 2023 ceremony in New Delhi.

While addressing, he said that education is essential to maximize the potential of both individuals & communities and It provides the skills & knowledge required to achieve success in life.

It enables us to access better employment, higher wages & a better quality life he added.

Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said that education is a cornerstone of human progress & development. He underlined that the traditional approach to education, which focuses on rote learning & theoretical knowledge, is not apt in today’s world for preparing the youth for future challenges.

Speaking about NEP 2020, he said that it envisages an education system deeply rooted in Indian ethos that contributes to transform India into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society by providing high-quality education to all and making India a global superpower of knowledge.

Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said that NEP 2020 is designed to propel the education sector in India towards the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Its core areas of focus are artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented & virtual reality, educational software platforms etc., he added.
