New Delhi: Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi celebrated its 28th Foundation Day at its college premises. Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director of the Indian Institute of Management in Nagpur, graced the occasion with his courteous presence. The event was presided by Shri Anil Shastri, former Union Minister & Chairman, LBSIM.

 While interacting with the students, Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director of the Indian Institute of Management in Nagpur, said, “It is extremely important to read life lessons of great leaders like Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji. He further highlighted about the leadership qualities that’s comes up with reading habits which also helps in developing wisdom knowledge.”

Furthermore, he said “Indian economy is the fastest growing economy and in the coming years it can be one of the largest economies in the world. The government of India is focusing on the manufacturing sector, spending billions of dollars on the Indian manufacturing sector.  India is making semiconductors and iPhones under the make  in India initiative which is a good sign for boosting the Indian economy.”
