JAMMU : Jammu Skill & Simulation Centre (JSSC) of Regional Institute of Health & Family Welfare (RIHFW) organised a two day hand on tool orientation workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) for Faculty and staff of Jammu University, which concluded today. As many as 20 staff members of the University participated in the Workshop.

Dr Shelly Mahajan, and Dr Anu Manhas, consultant anesthesiologists, Master trainers of Health Department (Jammu Division) conducted the training sessions through lecture demonstration and power point presentation, besides imparting simulation based hand on toll training to the participants with the prime aim to equip them to practice all emergency resuscitation steps including CPR and Airway management to handle emergent crisis.

The training was imparted through live Demos on Sim Man and by creating different case situations for better understanding of the participants.

The live demonstration during the training program was conducted under the supervision of Dr Manoj Bhagat, Principal RIHFW & Jammu Skill & Simulation Centre Nagrota and the simulation training was facilitated by Rajeev Gupta in-charge coordinator of skill lab.
