Aligarh: A delegation from the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and Stomatology, Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary, lead by Prof. Zsolt Nemeth, (Head, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) today met Prof Tariq Mansoor, Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) along with Prof GS Hashmi, Chairman, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Dental College, AMU, and discussed various issues related to academia and medical research.

The three member delegation is here since February 6, 2023, under the Erasmus Plus Institutional Exchange Programme 2023.

Earlier, Prof Zsolt Nemeth delivered an extension lecture on Odontogenic Infections at Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Dental College, while Dr. Mihaly Vaszilko, Associate Professor, Semmelweis University, Faculty of Dentistry, Budapest delivered a lecture on Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction. Another member of the Hungarian delegation Dr. Szofia Szentpeteri delivered a talk on Medication related Osteonecrosis of jaw (MRONJ).

The faculty members and students attended these lectures by the international faculty members in large numbers.

During their stay in Aligarh the Hungarian delegation attended different academic activities, journal clubs, case discussions, and visited operation theatre at Dental College as well as S.O.T., JN Medical College.
