Aligarh : The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in an atmosphere of gaiety at Aligarh Muslim University. Thousands of people offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the University’s Jama Masjid.
On this occasion, an Eid Milan ceremony was organized at the Vice Chancellor’s residence, where AMU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Gulrez accepted the Eid greetings of more than 3000 thousand students, teachers and non-teaching staff who reached the Vice-Chancellor’s residence.
