At a Special Meeting held recently, the Board of Governors of Indian

Institute of Management Bangalore, upon the recommendation of the Search-cum-
Selection Committee has appointed Dr Devi Prasad Shetty, Chairman and Senior
Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, Narayana Group of Hospitals, Bengaluru, as Chairperson of the
IIM Bangalore Board of Governors for a second term of four years. Dr. Devi Shetty has
accepted the appointment.
Professor Raji Srinivasan, Sam Barshop Centennial Professor of Marketing
Administration, McCombs School of Business, University of Texas, Austin, USA; Ms Malavika
Harita, Founder and CEO, Brand Circle and former CEO of Saatchi Focus India; and Mr
Mukesh Bansal, CEO of Curefit and Founder of Meraki Labs, have also recently joined the
IIMB Board.

The 15-member Board of Governors includes accomplished alumni of the Institute, eminent
persons from business, government and society, representatives of government, and faculty
members.
