ALIGARH : As many as 38 students of the Department of Political Science, Aligarh Muslim University passed the national level examinations qualifying for fellowships, including Junior Research Fellowship, National Eligibility Test and Maulana Azad National Fellowship, during the academic session 2021-22, said Prof Iqbalur Rehman, Chairman of the department.

Addressing a felicitation programme, the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof Asmer Beg congratulated the students and appreciated their success rate. He also urged the faculty members to help students with specialized preparation techniques for these examinations.

Prof Arshi Khan lauded the efforts of the students and exhorted them to prepare for the civil service examinations as they had the mettle to qualify for it as well.

Prof Mohibul Haque said it was a proud moment for the department and for the Faculty of Social Sciences which has rightly been ranked among the top institutions of social science studies in the country.

Prof Mohd Aftab Alam conducted the programme while Dr. Iftekhar Ahmad Ansari proposed a vote of thanks.
