RAMBAN : Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam flagged off a group of progressive farmers on a one-day exposure tour to Jammu. The tour was organised under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) and was attended by Chief Agriculture Officer, Ashwani Sharma and other relevant officials.
During the event, Deputy Commissioner Mussarat stated that such initiatives would help farmers learn about modern agricultural technology and best practices for improving crop production. The tour also provided farmers with the opportunity to interact with successful farmers and receive expert guidance.
The DC emphasised that the government is working to promote innovative agricultural farming as a source of employment and to encourage farmers to consider farming as a viable business option.
