Culture Ministry is organizing an essay writing competition with an aim of introducing children to the historical acts of courage and patriotism of Sahibzades and inspiring them. It has invited citizens to submit their essay on the topic “Bravery and martyrdom of Guru Gobind ji’s sons” in English, Hindi, Punjabi language within limit of 500 words. The last date of submission of eassy is 5th of next month.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged everyone to take part in the essay contest on the martyrdom of the Sahibzades. He said, India will forever remember the courage of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Mata Gujri Ji and the Sahibzades.
Under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Prime Minister Modi has announced to mark 26th December as Veer Baal Diwas, a tribute to the memory of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons for their supreme sacrifice and bravery.
